Job summary

Coast 2 Coast, based in Chattanooga, TN, seeks an experienced BIM/MEP drafter to create detailed Revit models and drawings for nationwide projects. You will work from on-site and home office setups, coordinating with architects, engineers, and field teams to ensure accurate as-built representations and constructability reviews.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in Autodesk Revit for MEP, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, plus experience converting laser scans

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce detailed MEP-focused models and drawings on site and at your home office in Autodesk Revit (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection).
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and field technicians to document existing conditions and translate laser scan data into accurate 2D and 3D deliverables.
• Perform clash detection, coordination, and constructability reviews across MEP systems.

Be Adaptable:

• Work on a wide variety of projects, each with unique scopes, client standards, and software workflows.
• Coordinate with project managers and survey teams to ensure design intent and technical requirements are met.

Be Cutting-Edge:

• Integrate laser scan data, point clouds, and 360 degrees imagery into BIM workflows.
• Utilize Coast 2 Coast's advanced tech stack (AutoCAD, Navisworks, and emerging Revit plugins) to enhance deliverable accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience with Autodesk Revit, especially for MEP drafting or coordination.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design principles.
• Ability to interpret and convert field data (laser scans, as-builts) into detailed Revit models.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
