Job summary

STV is seeking a Structural Design Revit Engineering Specialist for our Building Structural Group in the Philadelphia and/or Douglassville Office. You will work on a variety of meaningful projects that challenge you and contribute to high-quality structural designs.

The role requires significant REVIT experience and an Associate’s Degree in Drafting & Design, with the ability to handle multiple projects and communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience providing plan preparation and project deliverable drawings for building structures and foundations.
• Significant design experience with REVIT; samples may be requested.
• Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform drawing development using REVIT and/or AutoCAD on building projects.
• Support drawing preparation for layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of designs.
• Format drawings to client standards using multiple software.
• Create BIM models using REVIT.
• Collaborate with other production team members.
• Understand engineering and architectural documentation and preparation of structural drawings.
• Work in a group setting and monitor projects for standards compliance and modeling accuracy.
• Review BIM models for design coordination issues.
