Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Revit Mechanical Designer/Technician in Farmington Hills, MI, to support the Mechanical Engineering team with 2D and 3D layouts and documentation. You will develop Revit models for HVAC and plumbing and ensure drawings meet client and industry standards.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across Fishbeck offices, manage documents, and assist in project delivery. A related associate degree and Revit experience are required.

Working with our Mechanical Engineering team, you willprepare mechanical layouts for a variety of different projects and work with several multidisciplinary professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with lead mechanical engineers to prepare 2D and 3D mechanical layouts and design drawings that meet client, Fishbeck, and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain Revit models and construction documents for HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Manage drawing setup, graphics, and document organization for project deliverables.
• Coordinate printing, plotting, and distribution of project documents.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across multiple Fishbeck offices and external consultants to support project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in Revit.
• Familiarity with mechanical design and drafting, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
