Job summary

You will review designs for technical adequacy and alignment with project requirements. The role emphasizes interdepartmental coordination with Operations, Purchasing, Marketing, Business Development, and Estimating, along with preparing design documents and supporting licensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Experience with Revit and NEC code standards.
• Experience with computer estimating applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and develop documents for conceptual and interpretive drafting of design-build or plan/spec projects.
• Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Marketing, Business Development, and Estimating to resolve technical issues and coordinate scheduling.
• Interact with engineers, architects, consultants, owners, and vendors to resolve design issues and ensure project requirements are met.
• Research, develop, and review design documents to ensure drawings are accurate and adequate.
• Assist in the procurement and upkeep of electrical licensing requirements as directed by leadership.
• Pursue continuous improvement and skill advancement to meet branch needs.
