Job summary

Frankfurt-Short-Bruza Associates, P.C. seeks an Application Support Specialist to lead Revit and BIM technical support across the firm. In this full-time role, you will own firmwide Revit standards, templates, families, and libraries, provide advanced troubleshooting, and develop automation tools to improve production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical credentials in Design Technology, CS, IT, or related field.
• Advanced experience with Revit and BIM workflows in AEC environments.
• Experience developing/managing Revit templates, families, standards, and libraries.
• Experience with scripting, automation, or Revit API tools preferred.
• Relevant Autodesk, BIM, or technology certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as firm’s primary Revit and BIM expert across the organization.
• Own and maintain Revit templates, standards, families, libraries, and parameters.
• Lead annual Revit upgrades including testing and deployment coordination.
• Provide advanced support for complex Revit issues beyond standard IT support.
• Develop Revit families and automation tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Identify and automate inefficient workflows; implement better processes.
• Establish BIM best practices for model setup, work-sharing, and coordination.
• Partner with project teams to optimize BIM workflows throughout projects.
• Provide training and guidance to strengthen Revit usage across staff.
• Support other design apps, interoperability, and software upgrades.
