Job summary

MSA Safety in Murrysville, PA is hiring a Reverse Logistics Support Technician for 1st shift to receive, unpack, identify, and process customer-owned material. You will document quantities, inspect goods, and complete SAP transactions for returns while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Daily tasks include packing, labeling, and preparing returns for resale, scrapping in SAP per guidelines, and collaborating with customer service via email or Salesforce to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Previous SAP experience.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in materials, shipping/receiving, returns, inspections.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, identify, and deliver customer-owned material.
• Process returned material in SAP according to procedures.
• Inspect returned product for condition and disposition.
• Return materials to plant or production for repair/testing/salvage.
• Repack, label, and prepare returns for resale.
• Scrap materials in SAP and in compliance with guidelines.
• Communicate via email or Salesforce about customer returns.
• Create and update standard operating procedures for the role.
