Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Reverse Logistics Supervisor for the Katy Distribution Center to oversee returns off-load, eCom returns, RTVs/RTS processing and supply team operations.

You will lead team leads, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate inventory management while reporting KPI trends and coordinating cross-functionally. A minimum of 3+ years in reverse logistics and knowledge of WMS are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in reverse logistics and/or supply chain.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the Katy Distribution Center Reverse Logistics operation; returns off-load, eCom return processing, RTVs/RTS processing, new stores set up, and supply team operations.
• Direct supervision of team leads over eCom returns, Returns, RTV's/RTS and supplies.
• Assist in completion of processes and operating practices to manage product returns and inventory accuracy.
• Submit daily production tracking reports for Returns, RTV/RTS, eCom returns, and supplies.
• Manage daily workload, drive continual process improvements, and organize teams to meet targets.
• Apply system knowledge to extract data and report operating trends for Reverse Logistics and KPI measurements.
• Handle escalations and communicate with stakeholders across functions.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required


• Bachelor\'s degree in industrial engineering, management, logistics or relevant discipline or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

Work Experiences

• 3+ years of experience in related reverse logistics and/or supply chain field


• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

• Manages daily workload, continual process improvements, and implements appropriate teams to ensure completion to operational targets.


• Applies system knowledge and analytical skills to extract business data to report operating trends for Reverse Logistics and KPI measurements.


• Handles multiple incoming escalations appropriately.


• Identifies and communicates actionable support cross-functionally to internal and external stakeholders.


• Assists in Reserve Logistics projects/revenue opportunities.


• Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety rules.


• Duties may change and be required to perform other duties as assigned.
