Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is searching for a Reverse Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will perform critical technical analyses on malicious binaries to uncover functionality and detect indicators of compromise. The position requires a degree in a relevant field and strong expertise in Malware Reverse Engineering. Qualifications

• Experience must be in Malware Reverse Engineering.
• Entry level positions require an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years.
• Higher positions require up to and including an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and static analysis.
• Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection and mitigation.

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline

Role Summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Reverse Engineer to perform technical analysis and identify indicators of compromise in support of customer operations.

Location

Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Secondary Locations: San Antonio, TX, Augusta, GA, Oahu, HI and Various Locations

Clearance Requirement

TS/SCI with Poly

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis or malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Skills and Experience

• Experience must be in Malware Reverse Engineering.

Degree and Certification Requirements

• Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• At least one of the following certifications is required: CISSP, GIAC GREM, or CREA Cert.

Pay Range

$160,000-$215,000
