Job summary

RealmOne seeks a Reverse Engineer, Malware to join a contract-focused cybersecurity team. The role emphasizes technical analysis of malicious binaries to determine functionality and indicators of compromise, supporting malware detection and mitigation.

Experience with malware reverse engineering is required. The ideal candidate will work with scientists and analysts to strengthen threat detection, response, and mission assurance across government and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 11 years of relevant experience, or Master's with 9 years, or Doctoral with 7 years. An associate degree with 13 years may be considered.
• Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries using controlled execution and static analysis of assembly code.
• Overcome techniques designed to defeat analysis to ascertain functionality, capabilities, call-backs, attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Reverse Engineer, Malware

Join RealmOne on a mission-critical contract providing Cybersecurity Expertise and Risk Management. The role focuses on technical analysis of malicious binaries to determine functionality and indicators of compromise, supporting malware detection and mitigation. Experience with malware reverse engineering is required.

The goal is to contribute to mission success by improving, protecting, and defending national security through collaboration with data scientists, cryptologic computer scientists, cryptanalytic computer scientists, cryptologic cyber planners, intrusion analysts, protocol analysts, signals analysts, and reverse engineers.
