Job summary

RealmOne is seeking a Level 2 System Vulnerability Analyst to join our cybersecurity team in Maryland. The role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing attacks, and producing reports to strengthen mission assurance.

The ideal candidate has advanced degrees in computer science or related fields, strong Zero Trust expertise, and experience with MITRE ATT&CK, IOCs, and AMOD tools. A security clearance with polygraph may be required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, Master, Bachelor, or Associate degrees in CS or related fields with years of relevant experience.
• Completion of military training (JCAC, UCT, NWT, NCW) counts toward experience.
• Zero Trust experience is required.
• Clearance with polygraph may be required.
• Information Assurance Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and attacks across systems and report findings with actionable countermeasures.
• Investigate security incidents and derive useful intelligence to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to design, development, and assessment of information systems and security controls.

This opportunity supports a team of Data Scientists, Cryptologic Computer Scientists, Cryptanalytic Computer Scientists, Cryptologic Cyber Planners, Intrusion Analysts, Protocol Analysts, Signals Analysts and Reverse Engineers, responsible for improving, protecting, and defending our Nation's Security.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities of and attacks to the design and operation of a system (hardware, software, personnel, procedures, logistics, and physical security) by relating vulnerabilities and attacks to effects on operations and missions supported by those systems. Compare and contrast various system attack techniques and develop operationally effective countermeasures. Produce formal and informal reports, briefings, and perspectives of actual and potential attacks against the systems or missions being studied.

Level 2 System Vulnerability Analyst Capabilities

• The ability to exploit captured media and/or investigate computer security incidents in order to derive useful intelligence and/or enable mitigation of network vulnerabilities.
• Relevant experience in the design/development of computer or information systems, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, and/or systems engineering.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Degree must be in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, and Information Security).
• Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC, Undergraduate Cyber Training, Network Warfare Bridge Course, Intermediate Network Warfare Training, Cyber Defense Operations will be considered towards the relevant experience required (i.e., 20‑24 weeks course will count as 6 months of experience, 10‑14 weeks will count as 3 months, or experience).
• Zero Trust experience is required.
• Analyst should be comfortable with network analysis, network anomaly detection, IOCs, Mitre ATT&CK framework, AMOD tools experience, and be able to analyze data to discover malicious or unauthorized activity collected from various sources.

Certifications Required

• Information Assurance Certification may be required.

Clearance Needed

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Pay Range

122,000 – 167,000
