EMR Metal Recycling in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Reverse Automotive Technician to support end-of-life vehicle processing and yard operations. You will help drain fluids, remove batteries, and load/unload materials using forklifts and loaders.

This full-time, year-round role offers stable daytime hours Mon-Fri, PTO, holidays, and comprehensive health benefits including employer-paid vision and life insurance, plus a 401(k) with company match.

Formación

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Mechanically inclined, organized and detail orientated.
• Ability to work both independently and on a team.
• Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds.

About the Opportunity

As a Reverse Automotive Technician at EMR, you'll play a key role in our daily operations at our Eau Claire, WI location. In this role, you'll assist with end-of-life vehicle processing to prepare cars for the next step of the recycling process. You will also assist with operating equipment to load, unload, and transport material throughout the yard.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cars by draining fluids, removing batteries, and other hazardous materials
• Operate forklift, skid steer, front-end loader safely to move scrap materials
• Organize product for efficient transportation and inventory
• Assist with other yard tasks to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Mechanically inclined, organized and detail orientated
