EMR Group is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to support our St. Paul, MN site. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and heavy equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires one year of maintenance experience and the ability to work independently. Strong knowledge of electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic/mechanical systems and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are expected. This is a full-time position on first shift with competitive benefits.

About the Opportunity

As an Equipment Mechanic at EMR, you’ll play a key role in our daily operations at our St. Paul, MN site. In this role, you’ll work to troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial machinery and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment such as metal processors, electrical machinery, material handlers, loaders, and forklifts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics and routine maintenance
• Dismantle, reassemble and install parts or new equipment with hand and power tools
• Use a welder for repairs or fabricating items

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance experience
• Background in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical areas
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in repair of industrial equipment, heavy equipment and trucks

Compensation and Benefits

• Monday – Saturday, first shift
• Pay $28/hr, full-time, year-round
