Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Support Services is seeking a Revenue Verification Clerk in Florida to verify the accuracy of figures and postings across business transactions. You will audit revenues, assist in operating reports, and interact with regulatory agencies and auditors as part of a confidential, detail-driven accounting team.

The role requires at least 1 year of accounting experience, strong MS Word/Excel skills, and the ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays in a casino

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience required.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and 10-key adding machines.
• Ability to communicate with staff, vendors and interpret instructions.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Must be able to work extended hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy of figures, calculations and postings for business transactions.
• Assists in preparing operating reports based on figures from revenue centers.
• Interacts daily with regulatory agencies, auditors and department management as assigned.
• Prepares documents for off-site storage.
• Maintains confidentiality and signs appropriate agreements.
• Ensures a clean, safe work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
