The North Carolina Department of Revenue is currently accepting applications for a Revenue Tax Technician (RTT) to work in the Durham Service Center in the Taxpayer Assistance and Collection Division. This position has a hybrid work schedule. Work is performed remotely and in-person at the Durham Service Center. The hybrid work schedule is determined by business need.
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for the public, answering tax-related questions, guiding visitors through forms, and processing local payments or documentation. The individual selected for this position will have excellent communications skills both written and oral; a strong work ethic; be able to prioritize and multitask; and will have exceptional time management skills.
Recruitment Range: $41,206 - $72,113
