The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania invites applications for a Revenue Tax Auditor Trainee at the Altoona Regional Office. Formación

• Bachelor's degree including 15 college credits in accounting, tax, or auditing.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training with 15 college credits in accounting, tax, or auditing.
• Applicants may meet educational requirements within 6 months of graduation.

Responsabilidades

• Audit Training: conduct sales and use tax audits to ensure compliance.
• Field Experience: work at audit sites to support processes.
• Record Review: research departmental records for tax history and assignments.
• Taxpayer Contact: communicate with taxpayers or representatives to schedule audits.
• Document Analysis: examine financial records for correct liabilities.
• Report Preparation: prepare work papers and narratives to support findings.
