Job summary

Western States Lodging & Management in South Jordan, UT seeks a Revenue Specialist to support revenue performance by maintaining rates and inventory, analyzing market data, and identifying trends to maximize occupancy and revenue. Hotel front desk experience is preferred as you grow toward revenue management leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily revenue management activities for assigned hotel properties.
  • Maintain accurate hotel rates, restrictions, and inventory across systems and channels.
  • Review occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, booking pace, and other KPIs.
  • Monitor performance and identify changes in demand and market conditions.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to evaluate pricing opportunities.
  • Assist with implementing pricing and inventory strategies to maximize revenue.

Western States Lodging & Management is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Revenue Specialist to join our hospitality team in South Jordan, UT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hotel front desk experience who is ready to take the next step into revenue management and build a long-term career in hospitality.

As a Revenue Specialist, you’ll support the revenue performance of our hotel portfolio by maintaining rates and inventory, analyzing market and property data, identifying trends, and helping implement strategies designed to maximize occupancy and revenue.From day one, this role provides exposure to key revenue management principles and a clear path for career advancement into Revenue Management leadership roles.

What You’ll Do
  • Support daily revenue management activities for assigned hotel properties.
  • Maintain accurate hotel rates, restrictions, and inventory controls across applicable systems and distribution channels.
  • Review occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), booking pace, and other key performance indicators.
  • Monitor hotel performance and identify changes in demand, booking patterns, and market conditions.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to help evaluate pricing opportunities.
  • Assist with implementing pricing and inventory strategies designed to maximize hotel revenue.
  • Review property data for accuracy and communicate discrepancies or opportunities to the appropriate team members.
  • Prepare recurring reports related to revenue performance, market trends, pricing, and inventory.
  • Assist in evaluating special events, seasonal demand, and other market factors that may affect hotel performance.
  • Collaborate with hotel operations, sales, marketing, and revenue leadership to support property performance.
  • Learn revenue management systems, tools, processes, and strategies while developing toward increased responsibility.

  • Previous hotel front desk experience required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, reports, spreadsheets, and performance data.

  • Ability to recognize trends and communicate findings clearly.

  • Ability to collaborate successfully with hotel and corporate teams.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and revenue management concepts.
