Job summary

Oncor Electric Delivery is seeking a Revenue Security Representative responsible for investigating locations with suspected energy diversion and eliminating theft by disconnecting service when required. You will develop documentation for internal and external authorities while maintaining professionalism in adversarial situations.

The role involves varied schedules and locations, with physical demands such as climbing in and out of a company truck and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas Class C Driver License required.
• Two+ years of investigative or loss-prevention experience required.
• Experience in electric metering field service encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes proper and improper meter base wiring and meter tampering to evaluate installation integrity.
• Takes actions to stop theft and remove hazards while following safety rules and regulations.
• Documents findings using company applications and evidence handling for diversion investigations.
• Researches, verifies, and records data in CC&B, EAM, and monitoring systems for inventory management and billing.
• Coordinates with Corporate Security, Field Service, Revenue Management, the Tampering Review Team, Construction Services, and Executive Referrals to ensure proper procedures.
• Performs all essential aspects and any other job requirements.
• Must be available for overtime, including all days of the week and holidays when needed.
• Must be available for 24-hour on-call work when needed.
• Must be available to work at any location in the regional area when needed.
