Job summary

Brightstar Lottery PLC is seeking a Manager, Revenue Recognition & Technical Accounting to join IGT's global accounting team. You will lead complex revenue recognition analyses across diverse product and contracting structures, ensuring GAAP compliance and IFRS guidance where applicable.

The role partners with Sales, Legal, Product Management, and Finance, provides technical accounting position papers, and supports lease accounting, SOX controls, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 6+ years of combined public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements.
• Experience with ASC 842 leasing guidance preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience within a multinational organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex revenue recognition analyses across diverse product and contracting structures.
• Provide guidance on performance obligations, SSP analyses, and transaction price allocation.
• Provide global technical accounting guidance (U.S. GAAP and IFRS) to internal customers.
• Serve as key accounting advisor to Finance, Sales, Legal, Product Management and stakeholders.
• Prepare and review revenue recognition documentation and memorandums.
• Support SOX controls and month-end close processes.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
