Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to be the internal voice of the customer, partnering with Sales, Product, and Engineering to solve complex billing, revenue recognition, and ERP‑driven challenges.

The ideal candidate has finance domain credibility, ERP experience, and the ability to configure contracts, pricing, metering, and invoicing for North American enterprise customers; you will lead demos, craft solution docs, and guide multi‑stakeholder implementations end to end.

Qualifications

6 to 10 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre‑Sales, or Technical Consulting.
CPA certification or equivalent experience in accounting, audit, financial operations, or ERP consulting.
Practical experience performing revenue recognition using Excel and/or ERP systems.
Thorough understanding of the finance function, including the priorities and operations of controllers (such as close cycles, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable hygiene).
Comfortable managing deal cycles exceeding $75k and navigating multi‑stakeholder purchasing processes.
Experience supporting customers in global markets, particularly in North America.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate the rationale behind solutions beyond just the implementation details.
Basic conceptual knowledge of software and AI architectures, APIs, and the ability to analyze workflows and usage challenges.
Strong analytical mindset with a methodical approach to solving problems.
High level of ownership, curiosity, and adaptability in fast‑paced environments.
Availability to work standard US business hours (ET/PT) on weekdays.
Practical experience with billing or order‑to‑cash workflows (Preferred).
Demonstrated success in managing end‑to‑end implementation processes (Preferred).
Previous work experience in fintech, billing, ERP, or Revenue Operations SaaS companies; familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce Billing, Zuora, Chargebee, or Recurly is highly relevant (Preferred).

Responsibilities

Understand customer billing frameworks and configure contracts, pricing, metering, and invoicing.
Translate complex business needs into clear workflows and configurations.
Develop solutions addressing billing, revenue recognition, and reporting with a focus on outcomes.
Collaborate with Sales for demos, sandbox configurations, and RFP responses.
Lead discovery discussions with CTOs, CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, and senior stakeholders to align requirements with Zenskar's capabilities.
Create and maintain demo environments representing enterprise scenarios.
Advocate for customers by providing structured insights to Product and Engineering teams.
Prepare documentation for smooth handoffs during deal or use case transitions.
Develop customer-specific solution documents and onboarding materials.
Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, enablement resources, and product documentation.
