Job summary

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort invites a Revenue Management Intern to join a 12-week paid program where data, hospitality, and commercial strategy intersect. You will contribute to reporting, promotions, collateral, and projects that influence commercial performance and guest experience.

You will work closely with leaders across revenue, sales, reservations, and marketing, gaining hands-on experience and presenting a capstone project to resort leaders at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

  • Current sophomore or junior in finance, STEM, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • 1–2 years of marketing, sales, or revenue experience through academic or professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Continuous authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Insights that support commercial decisions by building and automating reporting.
  • Support print and digital collateral, group sales communications, and resort promotions.
  • Prepare consistent resort communications through polished collateral and digital materials.
  • Support advertising, resort promotions, prize letters, and other commercial projects.
  • Collaborate with revenue, sales, reservations, marketing and other stakeholders on cross-functional projects.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to keep the team moving.
  • Deliver a culminating project and presentation to resort leaders.

In this paid internship, you will work at the intersection of revenue, sales, reservations, and marketing, contributing to reporting, promotions, communications, collateral, and projects that influence commercial performance and the guest experience. The 12-week experience is designed to broaden your understanding of hospitality strategy while developing practical analytical, creative, and business skills that can support your future career.

What You Will Create
  • Insights that support commercial decisions by building and automating reporting under the leadership of the director of revenue and helping teams access meaningful business information
  • Compelling sales and marketing materials by supporting print and digital collateral, group sales communications, resort promotions, and other initiatives that showcase the resort with clarity and impact
  • Consistent resort communications through polished collateral, signage, and digital materials that keep guests, associates, and internal teams informed
  • Stronger promotional initiatives through research, tracking, and support of advertising, resort promotions, prize letters, and other commercial projects
  • Efficient cross-functional execution by collaborating with revenue, sales, reservations, marketing, and other stakeholders on projects that strengthen consistency, efficiency, and commercial performance
  • Well-organized operations through administrative and logistical support, including expense reporting, correspondence, filing, supplies, and other activities that keep the team moving
  • A meaningful demonstration of your growth through an experiential project and presentation to resort leaders, connecting academic learning with a real-world hospitality challenge

Qualifications
  • Current second- or third-year student enrolled at an accredited college or university in finance, STEM, or a related discipline
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • One to two years of marketing, sales, or revenue experience through academic or professional experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, with a curiosity toward emerging technologies
  • Continuous authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship
