Job summary

The Nugget-Casino-Resort is seeking an Accounting Clerk to audit, post, and balance daily revenue reports across all outlets including restaurant, bar, banquet, and gift shop. You will reconcile each cash register with actual charges and protect cash flow according to procedures.

Responsibilities include posting vault payouts, balancing charges, preparing various reports, and distributing information to management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit, post, and balance daily revenue reports for all outlets (restaurant, bar, banquet, gift shop and other sales).
• Reconcile cash registers to actual cash, comps, and other charges following procedures.
• Post all paid outs from vault, miscellaneous revenue, cash overages/shortages, and sales summaries to the daily revenue report.
• Balance charges and post totals to accounts receivable schedules.
• Prepare slot drop sheets and fill/short pay tickets for data processing.
• Distribute information daily as requested by management.
• Maintain communication with Nugget team and guests; recognize outstanding performance.
• Follow Nugget policies, procedures, and applicable regulations; maintain safety and professionalism.
• Attend work regularly and perform other duties as assigned.
