Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Charge Generation Tracker (CGT) to ensure compliant coding and billing across the system. You will review edits, support providers, and resolve coding questions while upholding revenue integrity.

You will collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams, develop training materials, monitor performance reports, and lead CPT/CMS guideline training. On-site, full-time with possible signing bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Certification in Professional Coding (CPC) required.
• EPIC Credentialed in Ambulatory within 12 months of hire.
• 3–5 years of billing and coding experience.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes and third-party reimbursement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; group presenters.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical ability and multitasking.
• MS Office experience; ability to create reports/presentations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews edits within prescribed timeframe and routes to owner.
• Provides regulatory and coding guidance to staff and providers.
• Supports CGT compliance with federal, state, local rules.
• Develops educational materials and conducts training.
• Monitors reports and flags revenue integrity concerns.
• Collaborates with departments to ensure proper coding practices.
