Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Charge Generation Tracker to ensure accurate coding and compliant billing across departments. You will review edits, support providers and staff, and maintain regulatory alignment for charge capture.

With 3–5 years in billing/coding, CPC certification, and EPIC ambulatory credentials, you will drive educational sessions and improve revenue integrity across the health system.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential required.
• EPIC Ambulatory Credential within 12 months of hire.
• 3–5 years of professional billing and coding experience.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes and payer policies.

Responsibilities

• Gatekeeper to ensure CGT updates comply with coding and billing guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinical/ancillary departments on CGT file usage.
• Ensure system wide compliance with regulatory requirements for charge codes.
• Provide education and guidance to staff on coding and billing matters.
• Monitor edits and alert departments to delinquencies; support resolution.
• Produce and interpret performance reports to identify revenue opportunities.
