Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of coding experience or two years in a health care environment.
• Must have one of CPC/CCA/CCS/CCS-P/RHIT/RHIA certifications.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and medical terminology.
• Critical thinking, analytical skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research and review coding-related claim denials and provide corrections guidance.
