Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Revenue Integrity Analyst for Revenue Cycle Billing Operations in Akron to support front-end denial prevention, accurate charge capture, and data-driven pricing insights. The role emphasizes collaboration with clinical charging departments and the ongoing optimization of the Charge Description Master (CDM) to ensure compliant revenue capture.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years in a technical healthcare environment, and Epic

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Services, Finance or closely related field or equivalent training/experience.
Three years of professional experience in a technical/financial healthcare environment with Epic experience and leadership responsibilities.
Certification in medical coding (AHIMA/AAPC) preferred.
Strong knowledge of charging and billing best practices and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Provide support and insight into Revenue Cycle processes including front-end avoidable denials, charge capture and reconciliation, and analytics.
Assist in development/maintenance of the Charge Description Master (CDM).
Collaborate with clinical charging departments to implement best-practice processes.
Monitor regulations and reporting requirements and communicate changes to project stakeholders.
