Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Cash Reconciliation Analyst I to ensure accurate posting of remittances and to reconcile daily receipts to bank deposits. The role involves posting all insurance and patient cash for Epic systems and requires attention to detail and good analytical skills.

The position is full-time in Akron, OH within Revenue Cycle Billing Operations. Salary ranges from $18.31 to $21.97 per hour, with competitive benefits and a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years’ experience in patient accounting, preferably in cash reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of hospital patient accounting procedures and standard PC software.
• Ability to pass Word and Excel tests and communicate effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes remittance advice to ensure accurate posting of rejections, payments, and contractual adjustments to patient accounts, both manually and electronically.
• Reconciles all daily receipts to bank deposits.
• Posting all insurance and all patient cash for Epic, HB and PB.
