Job summary

Starr Regional - Health and Rehab is seeking a Revenue Integrity Specialist to coordinate and optimize revenue integrity operations. You will evaluate denials management, develop systems to reduce loss, and report outcomes to leadership.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate charging, coding, and timely responses to payer requests, while supporting education across departments to improve the revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• Two years hospital revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Experience with CPT, diagnosis, revenue and insurance codes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Medicare IP PPS and OPPS, Medicaid and commercial billing guidelines recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate revenue integrity operations and denials management.
• Develop tracking mechanisms to measure improvements by service line, payer and provider.
• Ensure timely RAC and payer audit responses and document all required actions.
