Job summary

UST seeks an Associate Data Architect II to lead the design and evolution of the Revenue Data Platform (RDMP) and enable unified data access across business units.

Architect, design patterns, and implementation roadmap will drive scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms with Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS. collaboration with engineering ensures secure, governed data access and phased value delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect designing large-scale data platforms.
• Strong expertise in cloud data ecosystems (Azure preferred; AWS experience a plus).
• Hands-on with Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data engineering practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
• Bridge between architecture and hands-on engineering execution.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and platform scalability.
• Preferred: Finance/Revenue domain experience.
• Preferred: SAP and Oracle familiarity.
• Preferred: Exposure to AI/LLM tools (Claude) and integration into data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define an enterprise-wide Revenue Data Platform architecture to support diverse business needs.
• Translate business vision into architecture design patterns and an implementation roadmap.
• Develop proofs of concepts to validate architectural decisions and speed adoption.
• Design solutions leveraging Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for hands-on alignment and execution.
• Incorporate cost optimization strategies into platform design and operations.
• Deliver incremental value to business units through phased implementation.
• Ensure data solutions enable secure, governed access across the enterprise.
