Meridian Health Services in Muncie, IN is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Technician to support accurate, timely billing and assist patients and staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm.

You will process payments, verify demographics, manage payer aging, submit claims, provide financial counseling, and help with denials. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential; a HS diploma is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• ICD/CPT coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply patient and third-party payments.
• Scan documents and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Handle credit card payments, credits, and account adjustments.
• Manage payer aging and submit electronic/paper claims.
• Verify demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Monitor payment agreements and coordinate collections.
• Provide financial counseling and review financial forms.
• Contact clients to schedule payments.
• Appeal denied claims and communicate with payers.
