Qualifications

• Two years of experience in dental or healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Proficient or able to become proficient within 90 days in dental software.
• Strong understanding of dental insurance verification and benefit structures.
• Knowledge of claims submission and insurance billing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Knowledge of insurance denial management and accounts receivable follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, coverage limitations and plan details with carriers.
• Enter and update insurance information in the practice management system.
• Review plans to ensure correct coordination of benefits and policy information.
• Monitor aged insurance claims and resolve payment delays.
• Follow up with carriers regarding outstanding claims and denials.
• Research and resolve claim discrepancies, eligibility issues, and payer rejections.
• Document all account activity and communications per procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain needed claim information.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies.
• Assist with other revenue cycle projects and duties as assigned.

Cherry Tree Dental is seeking a detailed-oriented Temporary Revenue Cycle Specialist to support our dental operations team. This individual will be responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility with insurance carriers, accurately entering and maintaining insurance information within our practice management system, and managing aged accounts receivable claims to ensure timely reimbursement.

The ideal candidate will have strong insurance verification experience, excellent attention to detail, and a working knowledge of dental revenue cycle processes.

**While this role will primarily be remote, it will require occasional travel to Cherry Tree Dental clinical sites and work locations, therefore candidates should be within a reasonable distance of Madison, WI.**

Key Responsibilities:

What We’re Looking For:
