Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Revenue Cycle Optimization Director to drive performance improvement across all Revenue Cycle functions. You will lead enterprise-wide KPI monitoring, cross-functional issue triage, and strategic initiatives to standardize workflows and improve financial outcomes.

The role interfaces with CFOs, facility leaders, and RC executives to ensure accountability, transparency, and execution of enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5-8 years in Revenue Cycle operations or optimization.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with Epic Revenue Cycle applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site leader for Revenue Cycle optimization and translate priorities into operating plans.
• Direct systemwide KPI monitoring, performance trending, and risk identification.
• Lead structured performance reviews with CFOs, clinical leaders, and RC executives.
• Triage and elevate Revenue Cycle issues to functional leaders for timely closure.
• Manage enterprise issue intake, coordination, and resolution to reduce burden on facilities.
• Oversee identification of systemic barriers and cross-functional remediation initiatives.
• Partner with operational leaders to implement enterprise workflows and best practices.
• Drive optimization initiatives including denial prevention and productivity gains.
• Coordinate outbound communication of initiatives and policy updates to stakeholders.
• Act as trusted advisor to facility leaders, aligning with enterprise goals.
