Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to assess opportunities and support the implementation of revenue cycle solutions across departments. The role focuses on planning, directing, and coordinating initiatives to improve billing, coding, and patient flow within the organization.

You will lead projects and collaborate with DoM Clinical Documentation staff and Revenue Cycle teams at 1500 Market Street and affiliated practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in revenue cycle.
• High school diploma or GED with 7+ years revenue cycle experience or related healthcare auditing exposure.
• Experience in healthcare environments and auditing concepts recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/weekly/monthly charge reconciliations for professional services.
• Lead revenue cycle/operational improvement projects on request.
• Provide technical guidance and recommend revenue cycle solutions.
• Collaborate to ensure policy adherence and impact on metrics.
• Troubleshoot revenue cycle issues and analyze AR variances.
• Stay current with reimbursement rules.
• Develop training relating scheduling, reception, billing, and reimbursement at 1500 Market and affiliated practices.
• Analyze reports to identify AR issues.
• Monitor revenue-related work queues for timely account resolution.
• Assist implementation projects, interview operations, review aging trial balance.
• Support operations review and training.
