Qualifications

• Two years medical billing experience in a practice or health system.
• Associates degree preferred; coding certification preferred.
• Experience with CPT, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and EPIC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate documentation and coding to optimize reimbursement and ensure compliance.
• Review claims for completeness before submission to minimize denials.
• Handle provider communications and payer inquiries to support revenue cycle.
• Educate staff on proper coding, documentation, and billing procedures.
• Monitor trends in charges, coding, collections, and accounts receivable.
