Revenue Cycle Management Specialist Remote

Job Summary

Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of invoices to payers, evaluating payments, and following up to ensure proper reimbursement. Assists with billing and collection training and handles second-level appeals to payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit accurate invoices, verify contract terms, fee schedules, and proper authorization.
• Evaluate and apply payments correctly, ensure timely secondary billing, and notify management of overpayments or duplicates.
• Follow up on invoices and denials, verify receipt, and send collections as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and HIPAA guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Minimum Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0–6 months of infusion reimbursement or intake/ admissions experience.

Qualifications & Interests

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
