Job summary

Jefferson in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Revenue Cycle Lead to oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure efficient workflow within the revenue cycle department.

The role requires experience in revenue cycle systems, compliance awareness, and strong problem-solving skills; a high school diploma and 4 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience are expected.

Revenue Cycle Lead Job Description

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Assist supervisory staff in areas of workflow and day-to-day operations to ensure that department goals are met
• Conduct training and mentoring sessions for new and existing staff
• Assist employees with day-to-day questions, issues, or problems and escalating identified systemic issues to supervisor

Education

High School Diploma/Equivalent and 4 years experience in a healthcare/revenue cycle setting with specific experience in business functions such as registration, follow up, denials, and payment posting.

Certification

Patient Financial Services Specialist II Certification (through Clarivate).

Salary

Salary Range $21.17 to $30.16 Hourly. The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive. Positions posted as annual salaries reflect an estimated amount for a 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) (i.e. 40 hour equivalent)), positions for less than 1.0 FTE will be prorated.)
