Job summary

UCFS Healthcare in Eastern CT seeks a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead the revenue cycle across Patient Access, Outpatient Billing, Coding, and Payer Enrollment. You will supervise managers, drive KPI-based performance, and ensure compliant, efficient processes aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.

This role partners with Finance, Operations, clinical leadership, IT, and Compliance to resolve issues, improve the patient financial experience, and achieve financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field.
• 7 years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• 5 years of people-management experience supervising managers or leaders.
• FQHC experience strongly preferred.
• CPC/CPB or CRCE/CHFP/Lean Six Sigma preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue cycle operations across Patient Access, Outpatient Billing, Coding, and Payer Enrollment.
• Direct supervision of Patient Access Manager, Outpatient Billing Manager, and Payer Enrollment Specialist.
• Develop KPI definitions, dashboards, and performance reviews with leaders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and process standardization across locations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, Compliance, and providers to improve cash flow.
• Drive continuous improvement and action plans for underperforming areas.
