Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent combination of experience/training.
• Experience with patient access, admissions, registration or related revenue cycle functions.
• Experience managing staff, scheduling, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements in healthcare.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle, billing systems and patient access workflows.

Responsibilities

• Directs clinical and operational functions and staff; allocates resources to optimize patient access services.
• Oversees financial processes and budgeting; reviews fiscal planning proposals for new programs and budgets.
• Oversees recruitment, performance evaluation and staff development; collaborates on labor relations.
• Assesses functionality and efficiency of information systems; uses analytics to measure performance.
• Develops patient service standards and builds workplace culture focused on service excellence.
• Implements processes and analytics to ensure viability of programs and drive productivity improvements.
• Ensures adherence to internal policies and external regulations in patient access services.
• Leads unit management collaboration within Patient Financial Services and Revenue Cycle Quality initiatives.
• Learns LEAN principles and applies them to the unit.
