Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle to lead development, implementation and daily operations of a comprehensive Revenue Cycle strategy. You will drive Epic Revenue Cycle initiatives for the SBO serving Cook Children's Medical Center and its Physician Network.

The role requires strong leadership across matrix healthcare teams, deep IT and revenue cycle expertise, and collaboration with clinical and business units to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business (preferred).
• 5+ years' experience in a management or director level role.
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership within matrix teams Healthcare/Business.
• Detailed knowledge of Patient Accounting, HIM or Patient Access.
• Expert knowledge of healthcare Information Technology.
• Information Technology experience preferred Epic.
• Prior experience with Epic Systems Revenue Cycle Solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing development, implementation and oversight of Revenue Cycle operations across the organization.
• Oversee Epic Revenue Cycle for the Single Billing Office (SBO) supporting Cook Children's Medical Center and Physician Network.
• Plan and manage the transition of Revenue Cycle systems and provide staff development across applicable patient accounting applications.
• Partner with Patient Accounting, Patient Access, Clinical and Business Units to ensure efficient, cost-effective operations meeting organizational goals.
