Job summary

Spring Branch Community Health Center is seeking a Revenue Cycle Director to plan, direct, and coordinate reimbursement strategy across call center, scheduling, eligibility, billing, and collections. The role collaborates with clinical, operations, finance, HR, and credentialing to drive a best-in-class revenue cycle.

You will oversee all revenue-cycle operations, manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and lead automation and AI initiatives to maximize reimbursements while ensuring compliance and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related field from an accredited university.
• Four years of health care revenue cycle experience, preferably in an FQHC.
• Knowledge of FQHC billing practices, compliance, and related rules.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHR/practice management systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue cycle managers including call center, eligibility, front desk, insurance verification and billing.
• Support full revenue cycle through data collection, reporting, analytics and KPI monitoring.
• Manage department budgets and regular reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with clinical operations to reduce errors and denials and improve patient care.
• Safeguard cash payments and monitor collections; ensure compliance and accurate enrollment.
• Approve department expenses, refunds and reimbursements to insurers.
• Maintain compliance and prevent fraud related to billing and collections.
• Lead vendor contracts and maximize services from payment/clearinghouse providers.
• Drive automation and AI initiatives to maximize reimbursements.
