Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience within registration, scheduling, billing, cash collection, cash application, or denial management/follow‑up
• Medical billing experience with an understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to clearly document findings and communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and exhibit problem solving with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Analyze coding, charge capture, billing, cash receipts, and accounts receivable reports to identify defects and trends
• Hypothesize defects based on patterns and design experiments to prove impact
• Package validated defects into structured analyses with root cause and financial impact
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance defect detection and automate pattern recognition
• Apply statistical methods and experimental design to ensure rigor in defect validation
• Identify trends among aged receivables and payer behaviors; provide actionable feedback
• Develop insights to reduce cost and improve revenue lift
