Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience within registration, scheduling, billing, cash collection, cash application, or denial management/follow-up.
• Medical billing experience with understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes and payer guidelines.
• Strong ability to analyze processes, identify problems and trends, and develop solutions.
• Strong technical writing to document findings for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate revenue cycle defects across billing, collections, cash application and denial management.
• Hypothesize defects based on patterns and test with analytics or manual review.
• Package defects into structured analyses with evidence and root cause analysis.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance defect detection and automate pattern recognition.
• Apply statistical methods to ensure rigor in defect validation and data-driven conclusions.
• Provide actionable feedback to stakeholders to improve results and prevent recurrence.
