Brockton Home Health Care Agency in Brockton, MA is seeking an experienced Billing Manager to oversee day-to-day billing and claims for Medicare, MassHealth, managed care, and other payers. You will research denials, correct errors, and ensure timely, accurate billing with follow-up on unpaid or denied claims.

The role reports to the Administrator and requires strong attention to detail in a full-time on-site capacity.

• Claims Preparation & Submission: Prepare and submit claims accurately within payer deadlines.
• Review claims before submission for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, dates of service, authorization, units, service codes, modifiers, and other billing information.
• Submit electronic and manual claims as required by payers.
• Ensure claims are accepted by payer or clearinghouse after submission.
• Correct rejected claims promptly and resubmit them.
• Maintain documentation of claim submission and correction activity.
• Denial & Rejection Management: Take ownership of denied and rejected claims from identification through resolution.
• Responsibilities include addressing denials and pursuing appeals where appropriate.
