The ideal candidate holds a CPC or equivalent credential, has strong knowledge of coding guidelines, medical terminology, and payor requirements, and demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coding Designation (CPC) or equivalent certification required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
• Medical terminology; anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of payor guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to use a computer with Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Must be well organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely assign and review professional coding using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS for a multi-specialty group.
