Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years billing experience required.
• Coding experience preferred but not required.
• Previous CMHC and medical billing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).

Responsibilities

• Review claims for submission to payers.
• Review payments and post, balance and research discrepancies.
• Collaborate with billing, clinical and financial staff to problem solve.
• Scrub, compile and review claims for grants and contracts; submit files to payers.
