The role focuses on identifying denial trends, system inefficiencies, and ensuring compliance with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPC certification (AAPC/AHIMA) or obtain within a year, with 4–6 years of audit experience and proficiency in Athena, Epic, Cerner, and Excel.

Qualifications

• CPC certification from AAPC or AHIMA or within 12 months of hire.
• 4–6 years in auditing or revenue cycle with anesthesia experience preferred.
• Proficient in claims, denial trends, payer contract interpretation.
• Deep knowledge of revenue cycle processes and healthcare payment systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analytics familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive revenue cycle audits across registration, coding, billing, and collections.
• Evaluate billing system performance, dictionaries, configurations, and outcomes.
• Prepare audit reports, dashboards and corrective action plans.
