Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle.
• Knowledge of insurance plans and contract language; experience with Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and initiate denial resolutions by communicating with payers, hospital departments, and patients.
• Develop and execute strategies for appeals including authorization research, rebilling, and balance write-offs or transfers.
• Correspond with third-party payers and hospital departments to obtain information needed for denial resolution.
• Utilize reference materials to troubleshoot payer issues and improve denial resolution techniques.
