Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Revenue Cycle Analyst to perform reporting and analysis of the revenue cycle, assist with system issues, audits, and compliance concerns. You will collaborate with leadership across Physicians, VPs, and CFOs to optimize denials management and ensure accurate documentation and billing.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem resolution, internal controls, and education across departments. Experience with hospital revenue cycle required; Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School/GED
• 1-3 years in hospital or physician revenue cycle, billing or coding
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field
• 1 year in Project Management
• 1 year in a Epic-billing environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze A/R performance and related financial reports; research clinical data for medical necessity of billed services.
• Assist with maintaining the CDM and software program integrity.
• Coordinate with compliance, RAC and payer audits; act as Revenue Cycle regulatory liaison.
• Monitor Revenue Cycle policies; identify gaps and opportunities; implement corrective actions.
• Provide ongoing training and support to departments and RCC staff on revenue cycle processes.
