SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium in Alaska is seeking a Patient Financial Services Analyst to analyze charge validation, denials resolution, and improve AR. You'll handle patient accounting functions, insurance and self-pay billing, remit analysis, and cash posting within a team‑oriented revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare billing.
• Two years of experience in healthcare billing.
• Knowledge of hospital/clinic billing and collections.
• Payor remittances and knowledge of CPTs, HCPCS and Revenue Codes.
• Experience with major insurance policies and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and reconcile billing errors or omissions.
• Ensure proper charge capture, billing, and adjudication of claims.
• Monitor DNFB to minimize aged AR.
• Escalate payer relation themes for bulk resolution.
• Perform data extraction and cross-source reviews for discrepancies.
