Job summary

West River Health Services in Hettinger, ND is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support the financial integrity of the organization through accurate billing, reimbursement analysis, revenue cycle auditing, and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on identifying opportunities to strengthen revenue capture, improve processes, and collaborate with Finance and Revenue Cycle teams to enhance revenue accuracy and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of similar experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting or CAH consulting role.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the charge master and pricing information to support accurate billing and reimbursement.
• Analyze billing discrepancies, reimbursement trends, and revenue cycle processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support payer contracting, negotiations, and contractual reimbursement reviews.
• Maintain hospital price transparency information in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Prepare monthly cost report estimates and review contractual adjustments.
• Assist with Medicare cost report preparation and related financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Cycle teams to improve revenue accuracy and operational effectiveness.
