Job summary

Rokt in New York seeks a Revenue & Billing Operations Lead to pioneer billing assurance and support, overseeing critical processes and driving AI-first initiatives for rapid growth and public readiness. You will collaborate with GTM, Legal, Accounting, and cross-functional teams, build high-performance teams, and scale systems and controls while delivering exceptional customer and employee experience.

This senior role requires 8+ years in ops accounting and a proven track record in scaling

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in operational accounting roles.
• At least 4 years of progressive experience developing leaders and teams.
• Proven track record maintaining financial operations and controls with precision and rigor.
• Ability to scale processes, controls, and financial systems leveraging emerging technologies.
• Experience with international operations and global complexity, including entering new markets.
• Outstanding executive presence, communication skills, and ability to quickly build strong rapport with leaders and influence collaborators.
• Intellectual curiosity, analytical capability and a pragmatic approach to business.

• Act as the primary liaison to external auditors for transactional audit evidence for billing
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of processes for internal purposes and clear Support Handbooks that define how the business engages with our teams

We are looking for a Revenue & Billing Operations Lead

Target total compensation ranges from $214,000 - $228,000, including a fixed annual salary of $170,000 - $188,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits.

Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Revenue and Billing Operations Lead to pioneer Rokt's Billing Assurance and Support function. Based in our New York office, this role is critical to supporting Rokt's rapid growth in an AI-first environment to create best-in-class friction-free processes for our Customers and Employees. You will oversee all mission-critical operational processes and be a proactive thought leader to the rest of the organization in order to drive AI-First processes to support our rapid growth and public company readiness.

The ideal candidate has a customer-first focus, with deep operational experience in a rapidly growing and evolving environment, the ability to lean deep into processes and drive AI-first solutions, and communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams in GTM, RPD, Legal and Accounting to drive Revenue at scale. As a key leader in the finance organization, the Head of Billing Operations will collaborate across teams and use their deep knowledge of systems and automation, combined with the ability to harness the latest innovations in AI, to transform how we serve and support our customers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing high-performance teams and creating alignment through clear priorities and KPIs.

• At least 4 years of progressive experience developing leaders and teams
• Proven track record of maintaining financial operations and controls with precision and rigor
• Demonstrated ability to scale processes, controls, and financial systems in dynamic organizations by harnessing emerging technologies
• Creative solution-led approach with the ability to assess complex situations that require you to consider multiple perspectives, such as financial, operational, and strategic angles
• Knowledge of international operations and global complexity, including experience entering new markets
• Outstanding executive presence, communication skills, and ability to quickly build strong rapport with leaders and influence collaborators
• Intellectual curiosity, analytical capability and a pragmatic approach to business is a must

Bonus Points

• Experience at a publicly traded company or in a pre-IPO environment preparing for public company readiness
• Knowledge of international operations and global billing complexity, including multi-currency and cross-border invoicing
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools for process automation, data reconciliation, or anomaly detection
• Background in adtech, ecommerce, or marketplace billing models
